So thankful that I decided to go south to fish Calero Reservoir instead of heading north to the East Bay. Empathetic to the protestors cause as racial inequality is real globally but definitely wouldn’t want to be stuck in the middle of such an emotionally charged situation as they blocked the freeway. The shelter in place mandate here really put a stop on doing things and seeing the people I care about here. But I’m still thankful to have had the experience to be here and learn as much as I have. Life is strange. You never know when you’ll have another opportunity to do something or when something might be your last chance to experience it.
